The 2019 Desert Classic was held this past weekend at Hobby Action R/C Raceway in beautiful Chandler, Arizona. This would be the official debut of Muchmore's newest addition Jake Thayer as he would compete in all 3 spec classes. With just over 330 entries, it was going to be a great weekend of racing!

Thursday, March 7th: Controlled Practice
Friday, March 8th: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Saturday, March 9th: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Sunday, March 10th: Single 8-minute A-Main Events
[ 13.5 4WD Buggy Class ]
In the 13.5 4wd Buggy class, Thayer TQ'ed 3 out of the 4 rounds of qualifying to take the overall TQ honors!
Thayer then went onto dominate the single 8-minute A-Main by leading every lap and taking the Win by over 8-seconds to claim in 2nd Title of the weekend!
